We recently received two awards from the Home Builders Association of Maryland. The Home Builders Association of Maryland’s annual program recognizes outstanding achievements by members who provide customers with superior and creative remodeling projects which are sensitive to existing structures and make appropriate use of building elements and neighborhood concerns. The criteria used to judge the entries included: quality of construction, degree of difficulty, value and cost effectiveness, unique and creative design approach.

Andrew Lohmeyer, owner of ALC, has been involved in the construction field for 23 years, and is a member of the Board of Directors for the Maryland Home Builders Association. Andrew is a hands-on type of person, and he is in the field monitoring every project. All company employees hold appropriate equipment licenses. In addition, all employees are enrolled in continuing education, to make sure we are up to date on all the latest trends and technologies. Andrew is now a Certified Green Professional (CGP). The National Association of Home Builders’ Certified Green Professional Designation teaches builders, remodelers and other industry professionals techniques for incorporating green building principles into homes—without driving up the cost of construction.
